A fictional Pablo Escobar film may have been a failure in Hbo's Entourage but the Yari Film Group is fast tracking a new movie based on the drug lord in any case, says Variety. Javier Bardem and Christian Bale are said to be attached as the stars in KILLING PABLO for director Joe Carnahan(Narc, Smokin' Aces). Javier will play the drug kingpin while Christian Bale will play Major Steve Jacoby, the Delta Force commander in charge of toppling him once and for all. Bob Yari, Mark Gordon and Jason Zelin are producing.
