What are some good surfing movies aside from point break

The Endless Summer 2: I haven't seen the first but the 2nd is most excellent. It's a documentary so I don't know if that's the kind of movie you're looking for but if you're really into surfing then check it.



Surf Ninjas: I used to watch this alot as a kid. Decent, but some stupid concepts.

Blue Crush (2002) is OK.

Dogtown and Z-Boys has a nice mixture of surfing and skateboarding (mostly skateboarding...)

Well the first thing I thought when I saw this thread was POINT BREAK, but now that everyone's said it... I dunno. Blue Crush? Heh.
Oh yeah, Local Boys is surprisingly good... although you have to put up with some bad acting. Jeremy Sumpter (Peter Pan) probly does the best acting out of the rest of the B-list actors in this movie.

I just looked at the box for Local Boys and I saw Anakin Skywalker! Eric Christen Olsen is the little kid on the box. Looks like more incentive for Trailergod to see it.

Eric Christian Olsen is the older kid on the box, and he's not Anakin Skywalker, Hayden Christensen is LOL.
