What and expose my trade secret???...

OKay, but it's for you fellas only...

Well, as you know the streaming webpage is made up of severals frames.

Once you get to the stage when the Quicktime movie begins streaming, "View Source" of the frame where the QT movie is embedded. Find the [EMB] tag and it should give you a link to a smi file.

Download that smi file directly with GetRight and something equivolent. Once you've got the smi file, view it with Notpad. And you'll find a couple of .mov filenames in it. One of them is the trailer.

That's pretty much how I got the direct link of "HP2" and "Scooby-Doo" international trailers as well.

Now I presume no-one needs Editman no more...

btw I'm not an angry man. But I'm a bit of a show-off.

And Gaumont, it's Editman. "One word. Like Madonna." (Mister in front is optional). :big grin:

    Question

    AGGHHH! Dunno Me!

embedded? (first time heard this word & it's not in my ENG dictionary). it this like right corner of QT box?

If I press right mouse on right corner of QT movie I get SOURCE, but here I can't find any... "[EMB] tag", "smi file". I don't get that part... I mean in my SOURCE FILE there is no files like this...

    DAMN.

    Editman, please be more specific...

I wasn't going through the downloading process when I wrote the instructions. Well, I guess that's probably why it confused somebody.

Okay, here's we go again, more specifically:

    1. Click on the link above in the beginning of this thread provided by ZuBi.

    2. Once you download the page, you should see a Play Button. Click on it.

    3. A pop-up window should appear either asking you to select media type and connecton speed, or it should start downloading automatically. For the former, choose Quicktime and the most suitable connection speed for you. (I chose the maximum res.)

    4. Now the page with the Quicktime movie file is in the left, second-to-the-top frame of the pop-up window. Wait for the ads to finish.

    5. Once you see "Feature presentation", the Quicktime file will start "streaming". Now is the time when you right-click to view source. It is advised that you try to click the black area just above the very top edge of the QT movie, or you may view the source of a wrong page.

    6. If you use IE, the page should be open with Notepad. Click F3 to open the Find window. Put in "EMB" and do a search, and you'll find the [EMB] tag with the link to the .smi file at the end, where it says QTSRC="".

    7. Copy that .smi file link and download it directly with GetRight or whatever equivolent.

    8. Once you download the smi file, open it with Notepad. You'll find a couple of [video src] tags. One of them is the trailer.

Okay, if it's still too complicated. Here's the real dummy treat:

Direct link to the page with embedded QT movie

Direct link to the .smi file

And njovan and I have already given you the direct links to the trailer.

Hope you get it this time, ZuBi...

editman, I tried the same process with this trailer and the .smi file came out as a blank document in Word/Note pad and Real Player was the default application. Have I done something wrong?http://trailers.warnerbros.com/web/p...e&speed=300000
