Whe he misses a dose of Prozium, a mind-altering drug that hinders emotion, Preston, who has been trained to enforce the strict laws of the new regime, suddenly becomes the only person capable of overthrowing it.

    Using similar themes as stories as diverse as Brave New World, Gattaca, Fahrenheit 451, and 1984, the upcoming Dimension Films release Equilibrium knows what's interesting in science fiction and action and takes it for a wonderful drive around the block.

    Crossbreed The Matrix, Gattaca, and Farenheit 451 and give it a small budget and you get the gist.

    If anyone doubted my comment that Christian Bale could and should play Batman or Superman, this confirms it.

    A solid film that has a bunch of little flaws but one that comes out far onthe winning end. If a lot of us get the chance to see this film, there'll be some debate.
