sounds like a 28 days/weeks later movie...
-
i would agree as well. though, for a rip off of 28Days/Omega Man ... I am Legend wasn't that bad. wouldn't pay to see it again though, but initally not bad. i really wasn't a huge fan of Road Warrior/Mad Max, so ill wait to see it for $3 as a rental unless i get really, really bored....

Yeah...jerky as hell. I'll still watch it though.

Is there a better encode of this as yet?
The movie looks promising but Yahoo's jerky encoding just plain sucks...

anyone seen this?
I was shelving some DVDs at my store today and an unrated copy of this came across my hands and I noticed it was Neil Marshall.
I didn't know this came out on DVD and I didn't know Neil Marshall made this.
I took it home, haven't watch it.
Is it as good as The Descent?

I really enjoyed it , the plot is a mixture of 28 days later, Mad Max, with some Escape from New York thrown in. The efffects are OK, some a little over the top, but they do their job, and it does have some slow moments, but overall it rates pretty good in my books anyway. You cant really compare it to Descent though, 2 different genres. Descent was what I refer to as a "critter" movie, Doomsday is more "Apocalyptic", no "critters" involved.
Whichever way you kook at it, the story is'nt bad and it does have plenty of action.
I can't see through walls, but I can kick your ass.
