Got the windows version playing fine. Still having a little jerky frames while watching 1080p content. Dont know why since I can play HD material just fine on PowerDVD & Windows Media Player. My specs are well beyond recommended as well. Anyone else on the windows side having some issues?

Jerky is an understatement, but, well, that's also because I'm slightly beneath the minimun-specs (Windows HD plays fine, though). Anyway, I'd have a question most likely only the Mac-users can answer: How many frames do these HD-trailers have? 23.976 a second, or 24 or 29? Or something else entirely.

The QuickTime 7 preview-version doesn't show that on my PC, only shows 0.00 frames per sec (in the video, not during playback). So if anyone has infos on that, it'd be really appreciated.

    Best regards,
    VSG

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. My specs are:
Intel P4 3.46Ghz Extreme Edition, 1GB DDR2 HyperX Ram & X850 Radeon XT card. The playback is less than satisfactory. Apple definetely got my two cents about it.

remember folks it's not a final release and this means qt7 for windows is not bug free. this may all change when the real deal is coming online and then the playback should work well on fast pc with h.264 high-def contend.

But of course, I'm just merely stating...if no one mentions their problems, then there will never be a solution!

It crashed every time I opened the Star Wars 800x430 teaser I think I'll wait for final release.

Bender, I don't want to bug you or anything, but are you sure they do?

Cos I exported the Batman Begins 1080 Trailer and converted it to PAL (the way I always do and get smooth playback), but even the AVI in 23.976 frames plays back jerky.
Or is this problem in the source-file already ... or even worse, in the decoder-engine of the QuickTime 7 windows-preview version?

    Best regards,
    VSG
