How do I save picture frames from Quicktime or Realplayer?
When I'm watching trailers in Quicktime or Realplayer, sometimes I want to pause the picture and save it and use it as a jpeg for a background or signature.
How do I do this?...like I give a fk

You need QuicktimePro.
Stop the trailer/movie -> File -> Export
This is a technical question, so next time please use the right subforum.

Or just push the PrtSc button, which is like ten times easier

For Quicktime videos, I use the free VLC Player. Then I just go to the Video menu and select "Snapshot". Unfortunately, VLC PLayer does not play RealPlayer's videos.

When I write articles/trailer comments/reviews/whatever, its MUCH easier and quicker to do as you say.
I google pic/find it in movie/find it in trailer/whatever and instead of saving it and so on, I push PrtSc, open irfan view, crop it by one button and save it as I wish. This whole procedure takes only 10 secs, if not less. And I have pic in whatever shape/size I need. Of course, thats just my way of doing it, but it is for sure the quickest way to work out.
But yeah, if he wants just the picture WITHOUT any improvements (size and so on), the first way is quicker. I didnt realize that
