The Film

The movie stars Nicolas Cage as a professor named Ted Myles who gets his hands on an item from a 50-year-old time capsule which seemingly predicts every major disaster over that 50-year period. The kicker is that the final prediction deals with destruction on a global scale -- and the good professor is somehow involved.
