Maybe spend a little less time on the computer. There's definitely nothing wrong with buying something for yourself, especially if you work hard and support a family. Im in college and live with my mom and I practically took over our living room, it's not uncommon for women to freak out over things, when I bought my TV she wanted to tell the delivery guys to bring it back. LOL.
