    The animation wizards at Pixar rocketed to critical and box office success again with the biggest family movie of the year, an out-of-this-world tale of a lonely little robot with a really big heart.

    Director Jon Favreau and star Robert Downey Jr. brought Marvel Comics' popular armored superhero to the big screen, kicking off the summer blockbuster season, defying expectations and blasting off all the way to the number two spot.

    This is the same amount of money that General Motors (car mega-company) lost this summer.

    This is the same amount of money that the United States Postal Service lost in revenue in 2008.

    The Space Shuttle Endeavour (built to replace the Shuttle Challenger, only cost 1.7 Billion

    The yearly budget of the United States National Park Service is 2.25 Billion

    2.5 Billion would run Miami, Fl for about 3 years

    yeah but the Adult Film Industry took in almost $7 billion in 2008 so....

    1. This is still few days of 2008 year.
    2. For the movies from 2008 year count also 2009 gross.

    So. Wait for Marley and Me, Quantum of Solace (higher on the list) and 4 Christmases.
