Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen (2009)

    http://movies.ign.com/articles/937/937042p1.html

    Words from Michael Bay himself.

First there will be a teaser poster soon after the new year, and the teaser trailer will be out either in the theaters early Feb. or on the Superbowl. Cannot decide yet. I'm going to release some set stills on this site in a few weeks. I'll keep you informed. Going back to do more selects now from my portable avid that I take home from work. It's late, see you.

My favorite Superbowl Spot. Congratulations Mr. Bay, you did it again.

I would be disappointed if it was different

lol I'm not saying it should be different I'm just pointing out the classicness of it all. "Were making a sequel? Oh lets make it bigger than the last!"

That's definitely how things work in Michael Bay's universe

As one of the few people on the planet who didn't like the first one, I was hoping the second would be better but after seeing this I'm not so sure. WTF is that thing with the giant wheel?? Why couldn't they try to keep it a little closer to the cartoon?
You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't be sure. But it doesn't matter - because we'll be together.

    To answer your questions:

    1. That big wheel transformer is actually a part of DEVASTATOR

    2. They are keeping it close to the cartoon; they're just trying to be realistic as well, something they succeeded with doing in the first movie.

    and,

    3. Why did you hate the first one anyway? It's Michael Bay at his finest!

Actually I believe the big one is The Fallen, which is actually a robot, not just an adjective.

And before you jump on me for my criticism, I liked Crank too.
I don't think anyone is arguing the mindless part its the fun part. I also didn't enjoy the movie, the dialog is just so bad that it kills any fun I might have had. It's too bad the failure of Island apparently scared him to go the other way with his movies. Island while not a great film was a huge step in the right direction. And now he's back to just making things explode again. So while I do enjoy the occasional mindless fun movie, I don't count Transformers in that group.

no, it's one of the constructicons. They've yet to say who or WHAT the Fallen is.
