An-TO-Nio pronounced ahn-TO-nyo meaning Priceless, Inestimable Worth in Latin, is the Roman Derivative of Antonius (or in English, Anthony).
One of Roman History most famous bearer of the name was Marcus Antonius, the General and Politician who forfeited his dreams of becoming single ruler of the Roman Republic after becoming ensnared by the alluring charms of the Egyptian queen Cleopatra.
Antonio is also my Father's first name (although he goes by Tony nowadays ) and William is my wife's Father first name - so he is also named after both of his Grandfathers.
