Few years ago we had Big May of 2nd sequels. 3rd Spidey, 3rd Shrek and 3rd Pirates. And? Spidey 3 was recordbreaking but only ate the beginning. Then what? We didn't had biggest May ever. 2003 was better and now better is 2008 and 2009 too.

About SATC 2. There's almost always movie for women, no, for another audience, when some big blockbuster have an opening. Did You Hear About the Morgans? with Avatar, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past with Wolverine, Next Day Air with Star Trek, Made of Honor with Iron Man, What Happens in Vegas with Speed Racer (flop, I know). But SATC 2 is another league. It will be box office monster, but only opening monster. Look at the drops of first part: -62.8% second weekend, -53.9% third... and from $57,038,404 opening, SATC finished with only $152,647,258. Should be more than $200 mil., but it was very frontloaded.
