so instead of making a bunch of separate movies with each individual Character, they are just going to make one big movie now?

I don't get even if they are all part of MARVEL, how can they get the same actors to play the same role they played in the other films that were produced and directed by different people

You do know that Iron Man has two solo movies & Thor, Captain America have their own solo movies & The Incredible Hulk is canon to this movie. All leading up to The Avengers. Nick Fury, Black Widow, Hawkeye has appeared in some of these movies while Nick Fury has appeared in each one

    The Avengers=Marvel
    Justice League=DC

And their contracts are pretty much owned by Marvel, calling all the shots.

    Call it... friend-o.

    yeah, I know that.

I just find it strange that

    1. making the solo films not enough, now they got to get them altogether in one film?

    and

    2. the same actors in those movies are in this one

    BUT

why is Edward Norton or Eric Bana not in this one as the Incredible Hulk?

The only reason why they make "Thor" and "Captain America" are they need them for "The Avengers". You have successful solo movie characters, so why not a movie together with everyone. What is strange about that?

Contracts. I find this very nice. Tony Stark without Robert Downey Jr. is not same thing.

The films are not very successful and tied to a specific actor, like Tony or Captain. So you can change the actor. It is okay.

Do not be naive, this is the film industry.
