It's a shame that Dimension Films will release Scary Movie sequels and They onto 2000 to 3000 screens, while quality films like Equilibrium only gets put on 300 screens and no publicity.

That's because american public like to pay money for trash and not for quality films. Solaris flopped, Scooby-Doo is superhit. That's reality of life

IS Jackass a big hit? I don't know. I haven't heard of flocks of people going to see it. Also, the exposure of a movie to the public has little to do with the public itself. Jackass has MTV/Viacom behind it. Brotherhood of the Wolf wasn't really advertised much or distributed to many theaters and it has more to do with money and who has it than the American public liking to pay to see trash or whatever. I just hate simple generalizations, especially derrogatory ones. Any simple ideas about peace in the Middle East or that pesky AIDS problem?
