I don't know - it'll be big, but I think a lot of people were burned by the inept script of the second one. First guess $85-$90 million

Subtract another three hours off your Transformers: Dark of the Moon countdown clock. Paramount just announced that they’ll open the film, exclusively on 3D and IMAX 3D screens, on Tuesday June 28 at 9 p.m. It’ll open in all dimensions 3 hours later, at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday June 29.

that's why I said
We are predicting the U.S. Domestic Box Office take
INCLUDING IMAX 3D
for a
6 1/4 days opening holiday long weekend
starting with
all showings on Tuesday, June 28th, 2011

I was going to see this on IMAX 3D on Friday, July 1st, during the day at the Bargain Matinee price of $12.50 and the nighttime IMAX 3D shows are $14.
So being only $1.50 difference, I will go see it on IMAX 3D on Tuesday night at 9pm then!

My guess is $110million.

I want to say $150 Million (I am not posting a prediction) .
Just saying if the first movie made 70 Million in 6 days and the second movie made 108 Million in 5 days and this one is getting a 6 1/4 day opening;
it should make a lot more than what the second movie made on its opening week.
Just my two cents!!
plus the price of movie tickets especially IMAX and 3D has gone up since 2009.

Not to mention the first 2 didn't have the added 3D premium. I don't know... I'll have to think about this one for a bit.
