The writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films.

For The Bourne Legacy, Renner joins fellow series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.

I agree!!

This movie is akin to if they made a movie with Miss Moneypenny as the main character, without James Bond in it, and then called it the Bond Legacy or a James Bond film.

A ton of people are going to go see this without knowing that Jason Bourne is not even it.

If you can't figure out that Bourne isn't in it from the posters, TV spots, trailers... I feel very sorry for you.

And how exactly is this a ripoff? Did they take your money or something? Or are they just trying something different with the story and you don't like the fact that the world doesn't revolve around you?
