What's the difference between the 4 versions? They all look like the same trailer to me.

No Boo?
We waited 12 years for a sequel and instead they come up with a prequel with no Boo?
I've a feeling this is going to sucks!!

Boo was the reason the first one was great!
They could had made a sequel and kept Boo at the same age.
Some people said a sequel would not have worked because after 12 years, Boo will be a teenager.
Where does it say that the sequel had to be set 12 years later?
It could had been set 1 year after the original and Boo will still be a toddler.
Remember the ending of the first one where Sulley gets reunited with Boo at the end, 1 month after the events of the movie?
They could had picked it up from there with a sequel instead of a prequel!!

How do you know Boo wont be in it at some point?
Personally, with the way the first film ended, they should just leave the Boo story alone and leave it up to the viewer to make up their own mind on what happened between Sully and Boo after that.

I don't think Boo was born yet when Mike and Sully were still in college.

Pixar losing it.
The last great Pixar film was Ratatouille.
Cars 2 was blah!
The Brave trailer did not make me want to run to the theater.
Wall-E and Up were so and so.
Toy Story 3 I didn't even watch in Theaters; saw it on DVD and was not impressed.
Now this!
I think they are cranking them out too fast and sacrificing quality for quantity.
Furthermore, Ratatouille came out in 2007 which was right after Disney bought out Pixar.
So Disney is screwing up Pixar's quality!

. . . Right . . . I am just going to say I think the majority of the public is going to (rightfully) disagree with you...
I personally don't know much about the story (I don't think Pixar is really talking about it much) but as far as Boo, I think you might be looking at a smaller picture there. The film is about them being in college. It's very possible it could be a flashback or a story. Heck, they may even be talking to Boo about college because she's planning on going.

Sorry, but the numbers speak for themselves, all Pixar films were a huge success, with at least every single film produced was either nominated, or actually won an Academy Award.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Pixar_films
And yes, Cars 2 was not a great achievement, and can be considered the worst of the bunch since it's is the only Pixar film without any Academy Award recognition., but it still made a fortune,
Funny, I can count on one hand the movies that you actually had a positive feeling about, among them "Prometheus", which got beat by "Madagascar 3" hands down. Not that I'm saying Prometheus is a bad movie, but simply stating that being a "Fanboy" does not reflect the rest of the world's view (Or make it a success story, let me know when Prometheus beats TS3 at the box office).

Pixar is not losing it.
Ratatouille was indeed great but it was definitely not the last great film from Pixar.
Wall-E and Toy Story 3 came after Ratatouille was released and, in my opinion, they are better films.
Cars 2 was the low point for Pixar but it still performed well in the box office. Cars 2 is the only Pixar film I don't care for.
Up was a touching and imaginative story.
And I personally thought the Brave trailers looked great.
And on the subject of cranking films out too fast...
As a huge fan of Alien, I was a little letdown by Prometheus. It was far from terrible but it didn't live up to the hype. The visuals were breathtaking but I think Ridley forgot to pay attention to the story because he was like a kid in a candy store with all the new technology. All those years spent waiting for this prequel and then we get a film with sloppy editing and lots of cuts that make it feel like a 2 hour long preview for the actual film. It has been 33 years since Alien - nothing was being cranked out fast - but I don't see the quality that I was expecting from Ridley. He kept saying it would be "epic" and it would "scare the living **** out of you" but all I see is a movie begging for a better cut. And it was definitely not scary. Ridley edited the film for a PG13 and when it was rated R, they didn't go back and insert all the cut footage in again. They sent that version out to theaters. So ultimately we got a soft R cut.
Pixar knows what they're doing.
