i dont think she did. at one point, before the prequels ... there was discussion on leia and lukes mother having a different type of "force" power and she had that ... i forget what author/book series it was from.

Unfortunately Disney only kept the expanded universe as CANON, anything else is now considered irrelevant.

Under the terms of the agreement and based on the closing price of Disney stock on October 26, 2012, the transaction value is $4.05 billion, with Disney paying approximately half of the consideration in cash and issuing approximately 40 million shares at closing. The final consideration will be subject to customary post-closing balance sheet adjustments.

I was watching Attack Of The Clones last night.

At the part where Anakin returns from finding his mother and he is saying he wants to become an all powerful Jedi so he can save people from dying.

    OMG.

Hayden Christensen's voice and acting in this crucial part of Anakin Skywalker's character development is just awful!

Whose idea was to cast him in such a pivotal role?

    From IMDB Trivia:

Actors auditioning for the part of Anakin included Ryan Phillippe, Paul Walker, Colin Hanks and Jonathan Brandis. In the end Hayden Christensen got the part, primarily because he and Natalie Portman "looked good together".

Ryan Phillippe would had been as awful as Christensen, maybe even worse.

I am not familiar with Jonathan Brandis' work.

Colin Hanks would had been too much of a pretty boy.

I think Paul Walker would had been so much better than Christensen.

I guess your review of this movie did not convey to the general worldwide population.

    Never under-estimate "The Force".

I hope Episode VIII will be more original, like a young wannabe Jedi learning from a teacher who hasn't been seen for years only to leave to fight a bad guy who killed an earlier mentor. That would be so Awesome! We've never seen that story arch before.

Or what would be really cool is if they had giant dog-like machines attacking the rebels secret base right at the start. Maybe on a planet of fire. I just hope they don't have an icy planet. I can't stand ice and snow and the sub zero temperature.
