    I think trailer is bad. Choice of music is OK, but editing very bad. That's why I have feeling, that this trailer is not finished or something.

    I actually agree. I didn't mind the use of the music from Sunshine but when The Thin Red Line started playing, it felt sooo horribly edited and pieced together. It's almost like the first half of the trailer was finished and then they just threw together a chopped up second half. Maybe the original version was longer and there was more of a lead in to the action/dramatic stuff.

    Since there is no movie news thread, I'll post this here. Rogue (at :25-:26 in the trailer) has officially been cut from the film.

    Anna Paquin's appearance in X-Men: Days of Future Past has been cut from the final version of the film, Entertainment Weekly reports.

    The upcoming X-Men film combines the casts of the original X-Men trilogy with that of First Class. Paquin was initially slated to appear in a rescue sequence that involved her character Rogue, Magneto (Ian McKellen), Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and Iceman (Shawn Ashmore).

    "Through the editing process, the sequence became extraneous," director Bryan Singer told the magazine. "It's a really good sequence and it will probably end up on the DVD so people can see it. But like many things in the editing process, it was an embarrassment of riches and it was just one of the things that had to go. Unfortunately, it was the one and only sequence Anna Paquin was in, the Rogue character was in. Even though she's in the materials and part of the process of making the film, she won't appear in it."

    The True Blood star only filmed for a week, but previously told TVGuide.com that she was having a lot of fun. "My scripts... came with a letter attached to it saying that when I'm not reading it, I had to lock it up in a safe and give it back when I was done with it," Paquin said. "I had a really great time, but that's about as much as I'm allowed to say. It was nice to see my old friends."

    Craziness. Rogue is one of my favorite X-Men in the comics. Wasn't Paquin at comic-con on behalf of this movie?

    Weird, the first reports were that her part had been greatly trimmed but it sounds like she wont be in it at all. My guess is that there will be an extended cut for the home video release.

    i can't comment on rouge in the comics. but in the movies she's plain and simple boring. on top paquin didn't cut it either.

    I thought the movie didn't do her justice. Gambit is another of my favorite X-Men and they failed to deliver a proper Gambit in the Wolverine movie as well.
