omg, empire ahead of only phantom? yikes. here's my SW list:

Ep 5 (the best, by far)
Ep 4 (first one is still good, but very dated)
    Ep 6 (dumb but fun)
Ep 1 (even dumber but still fun)
Ep 2 (sorry clone luvers, but the acting, writing, and chemistry for padme and anakin was truly terrible to behold)

impetigo, I agree with you. Except I would say that EP1 is worse than EP2...
They BOTH had terrible scripts and were horrible to behold, but EP2 had more eye candy...

The pod racing was just lame...

Being an ex-SW fan, I gotta say Lucas really botched it...

He should've stopped after the special edition SW 4,5,6.
I mean... do you remember that Jabba scene where he replaced the original human actor?
Jabba makes a face... it was so~~~ lame.

Editman's choice (as if you care):

    1. Empire Strikes Back
    2. Attack of the Clones
    3. A New Hope
    4. Return of the Jedi
    5. The Phantom Menace

I REALLY hope that Ep.III can replace ATOC as my 2nd favourite though.

    Wink

Yes, all Star Wars are kiddie films with primitive plots, but they have very good sound and special effects. I like Ep. I more than other episodes because it have cooler CGI effects. But there's really nothing new in them, that's why Phantom Menace lost Oscars to Matrix. Just don't understand all that hysteria about Star Wars, what's so good in these films? People spending hundreds of dollars for star wars toys, watching these movies 20 times per year, are they crazy or what?

yes. I'm proud to be crazy though :big grin:

    hmm...
    1. EP6
    2. EP5
    3. EP2
    4. EP4
    5. EP1

Though you have to keep in mind the spacing on that list. EP1 is pretty far down and the others are pretty close.

true, ep 2 had more eye candy and better action and the pod racing (and jabba's "cameo") were really lame in ep1. for me, it's a tossup between 1 and 2. but i saw ep1 four times in the theater and ep 2 only twice, so i guess i liked it more.
