No better way to debut the teaser trailer!

However, I find it quite odd and different from where we left off in MoS.
It feels like a new franchise in its own entirety.

Just a teaser, but I'm sure the more we see the more it will make sense.
There's a lot of Snyder's usual slow motion cinematrography that he's known for.
MoS had a different Snyder vibe altogether.

I definitely cannot wait to see this one.

I'll wait until more trailers come out and seeing the movie before I say anything about the voice.
So far it seems it could very well be a manufactured influence courtesy of Wayne Enterprises' R&D department.
Which is a new approach to this new rendition of Bats.

EDIT: It's also in 24bit PCM stereo! Only stereo, but still very admirable.
Going to crank the sound system for this.

In my opinion, that's because it is.
It was clarified originally that this was neither a "Man of Steel" or "Batman" movie, I stated the day the title was officially released that the title gave the answer "Dawn of Justice", which could also be interpreted as "Beginning of Justice League".

The Marvel Universe introduced the characters individually, many were not very well known outside the Comic Book community, and included end credit tie in bits among other stuff for continuity, leading to an "Avengers" movie.

The DC Universe on the other hand, is late in the game and has to take a different approach since their main properties, Batman and Superman don't really need an introduction.
For the most part, the various renditions of these characters over the years did not give consideration to anything other than re-imagining them.

In short, I view this film as the Marvel strategy in reverse, a movie to introduce less popular characters (Wonder Woman), and hopefully spawn individual franchises as they introduce new ones. Those are my thoughts anyway.

Larry Fong tweeted this encode of the trailer.

The tone shift is normal. A Post-Zod Metropolis, and dark Gotham, plus around the world images. I like the philosophical aspect of the trailer, reminds me of the first teasers from Man Of Steel where j.kent spoke of the fact that the world is not ready for supes, and the other in which jor-el speaks of his (God-like) potential. Who knows... second teaser on Tuesday???

Snyder and Co. delivered big time and and I look forward for the movie.

If he does it again for the next trailer, let's make a statute of him.

    As I Stated previously:

One of the stars of the upcoming DC film BATMAN V SUPERMAN, Henry Cavill, was recently asked if the new film could be considered a MAN OF STEEL sequel. Cavill said the following: “I wouldn’t call this a Superman sequel. This is Batman vs. Superman so it’s a separate entity altogether. It’s introducing the Batman character and expanding upon the universe which was kicked off by Man of Steel…. Everything could change in the editing room, but as it stands it’s definitely an introduction to the character and ultimately an introduction to Justice League.”

Finally get to see Holly Hunter and Jeremy Irons.
Get to see young Luthor, too.

We were talking too much about what we're seeing to actually pay attention to anything Luthor had to say so we're going to watch the trailer again (and again (and again)).

We're really rooting for Batman. Cannot wait to see Irons as Alfred!

Really dying to get to the first full-fledged JL film.

With this extended look, we get a better feel for the storyline, mind you I'm still a little lost as to where Wonder Woman would actually fit in.

Either way, the trailer is pretty awesome, let's hope the movie itself stands up to the expectations.

The only reason I have interest in this film is because Wonder Woman is in it. Wonder Woman is awesome.

I can't help but feel this will be one of those films where the trailer is far more fun to watch than the film itself.

I'm simply at a loss as to how she actually fits into the story, the very few shots of her were not indicative of anything, I simply hope that they don't pull something like "The Amazing Spider-man 2" where some of the characters had nothing more than a few minutes.

I'm still on the fence, I get a feeling from the trailers that they will spend a lot more time on the philosophy behind the characters than needed.
