    300 (2006)

    Plotline: In 480 BC, the Persian king Xerxes sends his massive army to conquer Greece. The Greek city of Sparta houses its finest warriors, and 300 of these soldiers are chosen to meet the Persians at Thermopylae, engaging the soldiers in a narrow canyon where they cannot take full advantage of their numbers. The battle is a suicide mission, meant to buy time for the rest of the Greek forces to prepare for the invasion. However, that doesn't stop the Spartans from throwing their hearts into the fray, determined to take as many Persians as possible with them.

    Yes, Snyder did a very good job on Dawn of the Dead so I have high expectations for this movie.

    Slow-motion battles in perspective! The trailer make me remember Sin City a little.
    Urrk (in a good way)! It's rare you see blood in regular trailer. In Kill Bill they change the color. Look foward to see the official one soon.

    Few words from director Zack Snyder about the Comic Con teaser trailer from 300 Production Blog . Check out this site for some awesome posters!

    Unfortunately, I am told that I can't post the teaser trailer for all of you to see because of its violence, blood and nudity. Damn MPAA.

    However, due to the incredible response of everyone at the Comic Con presentation, I am now able to release a theatrical teaser trailer in the next month or so.

    Thanks again for your support and I will keep you posted.

    Indeed, I just wonder if it'll be a whole new teaser, or just a toned down/alternate version of the Comic Con teaser, cause I like the whole use of the NIN track in the CC.

    It makes me think about: Brad Pitt (Troy - "Immortality! Take it! It's yours!") and Russell Crowe (Gladiator - "What we do in life echoes in eternity").
    So this is a swords and sandals thing?
