About

Set in the legendary Aokigahara Forest at the base of Mt. Fuji in Japan, a young American woman, Sara (Natalie Dormer), goes in search of her twin sister, who has mysteriously disappeared. Despite everyone’s warnings to “stay on the path,” Sara enters the forest determined to discover the truth about her sister’s fate – only to be confronted by the angry and tormented souls of the dead that prey on anyone who wanders into the forest.

Wow, this looks very, very fun!
I heard about that forest. Always part of a top 10 list of scary yet real places.
At first, I thought this was going to be similar to the Early Access Steam game of the same name ( but we have The Green Inferno for that ).

One day, I would love to see an adaptation to the hit video game series: Fatal Frame (especially Crimson Butterfly).
