    Truly bizarre, but I'm aboard.

    I sat through the extended edition of The New World and found it artistically aesthetic.
    Not an insane pace and way too slow for the average viewer.
    Malick's style of film making for this is really for the brave connoisseur.

    The ending of the trailer got more and more emotionally provocative.

    I'm not a big fan, as you stated the cinematography is beyond comparison, but it also tells half the story.
    It's the kind of movie that requires multiple viewings to get somewhat of an idea as to the message it tries to convey, which is near impossible to do in a theater.

    His work might be great, but it's not for me.

    Yes, in theater, it's not something I would want to venture for a single viewing.

    mind you, I fell asleep quite nicely watching TNW.
    I think these movies do better for trailers and screenshots than they do for an actual story.

    Like an art gallery.
