    anybody seen this movie?

    i just watched this yesterday, thanks to igor, ahh i mean guevara =)

    ok, this movie is really really disturbing, the reason it has this great or powerful effect on the audience is that it does not look like a B movie, but has B movie themes shown in a very very explicit manner. SEX and very gory violence. Mostly when its a B movie, u know its a B movie coz the acting is cheap and it usually ends up more hilarious than serious.

    But no, this movie is different. It has the same effect of or seriousness La Pianiste or The Pianist or even Schindler's List.

    It has this very "vomit inducing" camera work and the sex rape and violence got stuck in my head . It is one of a kind movie or something that i have not seen yet. Only the French and the Japanese can make movies like these . It is a bit powerful but I certainly did not see anything special about this movie except for the IN YOUR FACE sex and violence. This movie is like a snuff film IMO.

    just for the trip, rent or get hold of this movie and tell me what u think? It is certainly a movie to talk about.. =)

    I really wanna know what JP thinks about this. =)

    It's a quite disturbing film. Dunno how Belluci and Cassel managed it to do these scenes. But hey, I'm not an actor, I don't know how these people tic.

    I watched it on Feb 11. yeah, quite shocking yes. I just read on one Slovenian Forum that quite many people has left cinema between killing & rape act... my score? hmmm, lets says 4 out of 5 (I like shocking movies, hehehe).

    Bellucci and Cassel are married, apparently. So maybe that helped the filming? I dunno. I can't take rape scenes in movies and I hear this one is about 10 minutes long. No thank you. I like Monica Bellucci a lot and I'm looking forward to seeing her in Tears of the Sun, but I might have to pass on this one.
