American Pie 2 won the best kiss. w/ seann william scott and jason biggs. lol

Best Actor = Will Smith from Ali

Best Actress = Nicole Kidman from Moulin Rouge (boo)

umm.... who watched the MTV movie awards? If you havent, you missed the most funniest movie awards there ever wuz. Jack Black wuz freakin hilarious.

I agree about Jack Black. Nicole Kidman's winning was ok, but I think if anything she should've won for The Others... much better than Moulin Rouge.

mtv movie awards is dope. (one of the few gems of mtv) and i think 'the others' was dope as all hell, but not enough people saw it...kinda like 'about a boy' (dammit people, go see it! its not a chick flick, guys...) -n

Exactly... Moulin Rouge had all the hype... The Others didn't... and I also hate it when people compare The Others to the Sixth Sense... because it was actually a good suprise ending... with The Sixth Sense, I was like "oh, ok" and with The Others, I was like "WHOA COOL". Yes I know I'm treading on dangerous waters here because many people liked The Sixth Sense... just my opinion. M Night Shamalamadingdong did do an OK job however on Unbreakable, and I hope he does a good job on Signs, it looks pretty cool, since I'm into that UFO/aliens stuff... yes, part of the Art Bell crowd.

The Others..... hwy whats the ending? i dont plan to watch it, or maybe i will when somebody tells me the ending.....hehehehe... i just love spoilers and im not really a horror or scary movie person.. i just dont get scared...

i have not seen a single movie that i was scared of, ....any suggestions of a movie that will scare me.... i watched 'The Exorcists' alone in the house at winter time at around 11pm and not scared <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

I'm the same. I don't get scared in movies anymore. Tho Mothman Prophecies did creep me out a litle.

It's pretty freaking. Then they realized that they're the one who are ghosts. That's the ending. Did that spoil it enough for ya? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

If The Exorcists didnt scare ya, then nothing will. I've never seen it but everyone that I know who have seen it, they always name that movie as the most scariest movie they have seen. Or one of the most scariest. My cousin went to see The Exorcists in the theaters, he brought his bible w/ him cuz he thought it will protect him. lol

So no recommendations for ya... :p

I must agree...MTV sucks a fat one!!!! But---I do like the movie awards. Nicole Kidman was great in BOTH Moulin Rouge and the Others. Altough, Moulin Rouge is a better movie overall than the Others. Don't even try to argue about it.

Moulin Rouge--nominated for best picture
The Others--NOT nominated for best picture

so the movie Moulin Rouge is a good movie? it looks awfully boring! but i've had a lot of good comments about that movie. i just cant decide. i wuz at blockbuster video yesterday looking at it and i just couldnt rent it. somebody tell me to go rent it if you thought it wuz really good, not just to have seen it or kill time.

Maybe it's because the movie's old and not scary anymore. I beleive it seemed scarier when it first came out. It was still a good movie though.
