my PC is my home theatre .. best quality u can get for the price :big grin: :big grin:
since a PC monitor does no justice to DVD, I got a digital projector connected to the DVI out of my PC, hence keepping the progressive scan quality of DVDs =)
Sony VPL-HS1
my PC sound system... weeeeeeeeee
500 watts RMS !!! connected to Creative Audigy 2 soundcard, and hey Creative anyway now owns 60% of THX...

Is just own this one (KV-32 36FQ80) with bad geometry
I put money aside to buy a great Surround System, like this one of Tisoy, the fat cat.

And my scott dvd player...

I feel copious amounts of shame. I've got a pretty good Panasonic DVD player... hooked up to a mono(yes, mono) 19" shitbox. I get 4 channels on TV. My life sucks.
Are you a Mexi-CAN or a Mexi-CAN'T?

Sony DVD player
i have a Admiral VCR
and a Pioneer Laser Disc Player
RCA Home Theatre (5.1 Surround Sound) 6 speakers including a subwoofer
everything is black and i love it (i have a papasan chair right in front of my tv so it's like my own home theater)"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."

27" Philips for the TV. We've had this TV for 14 years now and it doesn't look like it's going to quit anytime soon. The TV is great overall but the bad thing is it doesn't have any s-video inputs. I guess it's too old. The dvd player, receiver, and speakers are all RCA.
You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't be sure. But it doesn't matter - because we'll be together.

I have a home theatre.
32" Sony Widescreen telly
Denon 1500 DVD player (multi-region)
Denon Amp (can't remember model) it has all the in's and out's I could ever want or need.
KEF 5.1 surround speakers and sub-woofer.
I can make my house vibrate when I turn the volume up!:big grin:

at home i got my dads DVD player. My dads Amplifier. 2 crappy speakers and a 20" TV thats shows red instead of black. And it VERY dark on the left side (about 1/4 of the total screen) and VERY white on the right side (same size). And I got white shadows all over the screen. anything bright shows up as horosontal lines accross the screen, even if they are dots or anythig else small. whooohooooo
But at my dads place I got my DVD player, my sourond sound amplifier, 4 kickas speakers and a decent center. and my dad got a great 28" TV.
So I usually take my new movies and watch them over there =)"A celibate clergy is an especially good idea, because it tends to suppress any hereditary propensity toward fanaticism." / Carl Sagan
