WWE's Backlash Hit The BIG Screen

Live Sport event (WWE) @ ur local cinema? Major fan fun!

I don't know if they are doing this overseas, but this is the first I've heard that they are going to do a live sport event @ the cinema.
Who will be crowned the undisputed Backlash wrestling champion? Will it be the crowd favourite The Rock or WWE newcomer Goldberg?

    Tickets are AUD$25.

They've been doing this here at Famous Players theaters for years now. It's like $20.00 CDN to watch.

As much as I hate Goldberg, he's gonna win. They aren't going to bring him in like they are and then have The Rock crush him. Besides, Dwayne is going to make another movie so he's leaving the WWE for a bit from what I heard. He gets punked by Goldberg, leaves, then comes back for a rematch later in the year. They also sell more PPVs this way.

If anything Goldberg is gonna come in a win by default or an interferance by another wrestler, and The Rock is gonna get "injured" so he can't wrestle any more, that way he can do more filming. Otherwise the Rock would truly kick Goldberg's @$$. Goldberg isn't all that great although I want to see him and Stone Cold Austin go at it.

i agree. i used to be soo hooked on WWF which is now WWE. but i wuz really really hooked. i loved wrestling. my walls were covered w/ wrestling pics.... mainly THe Rock. but it's gotten more stupid!!! and more fake! i couldn't stand to watch it anyways. and i stopped watching it at the same time when the rock wuz gone for a long time so i just stopped watching it. it's crap. but... i will never mind watching the rock in action. if i happen to surf thru the channels and the rock wuz wrestling... heck yah i'll stop and watch it! and heck yah i'll see the rock on the big screen even if it's wrestling! it's great watching him on the big screen. the bigger the better!!! :big grin:

Wrestling is just stupid, mindless entertainment targeted squarely at the lowest common denominator. As far as that's concerned, it's very well done, but it still is stupid. For me, it isn't worth the time it takes to watch it.

I think it's VERY stupid too. If it was real then it might be somewhat good (I like a good fight) but it's scripted!!! IT's like watching a soap opera, they have their relationships, and tragedies, and drama, and this guy cheats on that guy, so damn stupid. I can't believe there's actually people watching it.
