I have to disagree. The movielist classics trailer is of a much higher quality. All of the trailers in MNL classics and exclusives playback perfectly on my comp even at higher res, whereas this trailer is the same as those used at apple. Very choppy on an average computer.

LOL I didn't even realize this was a classic... wouldn't of bothered encoding it.
    Thanks bender! ugh

Took it offline, why waste the bandwidth.

mark, i told you that there is allready one here on the site. the one i gave you has a better quality, so why not switch them? we're allways looking for the best possible source, don't we

It's not better quality. Hell the QuickTime version already on this site looks better than your source. There's no point.

i don't think so mark. but let speak the pictures:

here is a compare between mine and the one thats here. the upper picture are from my source, the one you encoded, and the lower from jean pierre. i don't adjust none of them. they look this way and the pictures where direcly from quicktime.

now tell me wich is better.

And it's my opinion JP's is clearer. It doesn't matter anyway... we don't switch classics once they have been posted. After we posted the Fifth Element, I encoded a 640 version of it.. did we switch it? No. We just don't do it, so lets end this now.

Mark is right. Normally I don't switch them.
But I did look at the pictures and Mark's version looks better to me. If you still have the original, send it to me and I'll have a look.

I've now had a look at both sources, and it's hard to choose.
Mark's is clearer and a bit brighter, but loses allot of the top and left side of the picture.
Mine is darker (losing some detail) but has a wider/taller frame.

Here's some more screencaps... Mark on the left. Me on the right.
    You guys decide.

u know what, it does not really matter..... the diff is so little its not worth all the trouble to upload or download again...

but if the original was a 320 trailer and a 640 was posted then its worth it but subtle differences between these two should not be a big deal at all....

Personally I prefer the darker one. Marks looks a little to bright, and I can vouch for the ML classics having a better playbacvk on lower powered computers.

yep, my weak computer has trouble with big trailers.
If you can stay calm, while all around you is chaos...then you probably haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.
