funny thing is that the banned trailer for this movie actually created "free" hype for this movie... at least among movie fanatics like us:big grin:

I just saw the trailer and this interview video...I think this could be a good horror movie. I certainly hope so, because I haven't seen a good horror in years, except 'Jeepers Creepers' maybe (the first part) IMO. What I saw (in the the trailer) looks promising. :big grin:

Thing is I still don't understand why the trailer was rated R but the MPAA. There's no nudity, no swearing in the trailer. Violence are never directed shown.

MPAA must think that the ugly-looking creatures are too intense for audiences, and the montage too violent. But the ugly aliens in MIB, or nightcrawler in X2 are not too intense... hmmm... well that was a bad example but you know I mean.

Yes the whole ban-the-trailer thing does generate more publicity for the movie. Those in Australia may remember the banning threats to 'Kundun', 'Romance', 'Lolita' (remake) and 'Baise Moi (Rape Me)' (which did get banned in Melbourne after a few weeks of screenings) did help the box office a bit for these movies. (Well at least I went to them.)

Any publicity is good publicity in the movie industry.
