First news of EPIII
From http://www.thenextamidala.com/
A very close TNA source provides a first glimpse into the production of EP III. The image below is scanned from the latest edition of the German magazine "Film und TV Kameraman". It shows the new HD camera HDC - F950 which will be used throughout the whole EP III production. Recently the official site featured a lengthy article about this camera! What you can clearly spot on the image is a real model (no CG!) of an All Terrain Tactical Enforcer (AT-TE walker) as seen in AOTC. Whether this is just a model test or a camera test or already material for EP III remains uncertain.....
:big grin: :big grin: :big grin: Wooohoooo!! Let's make a countdown! ...joking

wow, i am surprised they still used real scale models :big grin:
-
Maybe it's for explosion shots... Or maybe it's just a really good maquette.
Are you a Mexi-CAN or a Mexi-CAN'T?
-
If you watch the special features on either episode I or II dvd they say they use more models now than they did for the original starwars trilogy.
I'm wondering if that thing actually walks.

Is it my imagination, or is that the Imperial logo on the side of the AT-TE, just above the front leg.
You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't be sure. But it doesn't matter - because we'll be together.

Imperial logo

That logo was on there for episode II as well. And it makes sense that the are using a similar logo. Because the Republic army becomes the Imperial army.

I believe that's the hole for the fuel pump...
From my extensive knowledge of star wars, I'd wager that it takes lead-replacement fuel... the Imperial Army is bad... but they still care about the environment!
