Well i would argue that it wasent Michael Bay's fault The Island flopped, the movie was good imo and well directed from bay.. the problem was the marketing.. in my country i wouldent have heard about it untill 4-5 weeks after relese if i wasent a daily Movie-List.Com user.. imo its a shame it did so bad.. it was a good movie and i enjoyed it alot so did all my mates and my girlfriend.. it just showed that if you market a movie bad enough it can flop no matter how good it is..

So im more then fine with Bay for this project..

Bay is probably the only reason I'm expecting anything good out of this movie, even if it's crap and doesn't make any sense at least we'll see some cars flying through the air....and SWAT teams...hehe....Bay is a real guy-flick director.

Anyway, I liked the CGI test a lot (and understand that it was fan-based), and hope the movie makers get a firm that can do the transformations that good.
