RUSH HOUR 3?
Variety reports that comedian Chris Tucker is finally in talks with New Line Cinema about making a third RUSH HOUR movie. New Line has been wanting to get cranking on RH3 for a while now but Tucker and his co-star, Jackie Chan, and RUSH HOUR director Brett Ratner have all been too busy.
New Line wants Ratner to direct RH3 but he may work on the sequel to GET SHORTY, titled BE COOL, first if a deal can be reached. Contractually New Line owns Ratner; his next film has to be with them unless a deal can be made. New Line might do it if they can get something of benefit for RUSH HOUR 3."A celibate clergy is an especially good idea, because it tends to suppress any hereditary propensity toward fanaticism." / Carl Sagan

i think it will be good... it gets funnier and funnier.
but i hope it won't encourage them to make another Shanghai Noon movie....."Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."

I liked Rush Hour 1, but Rush Hour 2 gave me a huge smile with clapping arms. I'd glady like to see a third Rush Hour film. Bring on the duals

It has been confirmed!
The Associated Press spoke to Jackie Chan about the current bird flu crisis in Asia. Chan mentioned that he will begin shooting Rush Hour 3 in August. The third film will shoot in France, Germany and Russia, according to Chan.

I thought the first two were just about equally good, and I certainly wouldn't mind a third.
Are you a Mexi-CAN or a Mexi-CAN'T?

I liked both the first films, thought the second was even better but what's left. We've had Jackie Chan as a fish out of water in America. Chris Tucker a fish out of water in China, so unless they'll both be fish out of water in the North Pole then there's not much they can do. I agree with Radstar, I far prefered Shanghai Noon because, for me, that one was much more like vintage chan. That could go on as a succesful franchise with them being a different country each time, because neither of them were ever "In water" to begin with.
