The Young Victoria - 4.5/5
My favourite film of the year so far.
-
Pineapple Express - 3/5
I laughed out loud at the 'fight scene' (worth seeing just for that) and any scene with Danny McBride. The rest was ok but not hilarious.
Ludwig - 4/5
I hadn't seen this in a long time but it's still as good as I remember. Only problem I have is the dubbed soundtrack. It's about time someone either re-dubbs it in German or finds the original English sync. At the moment the dubbed Italian doesn't belong in what is a pretty great film.
Cass- 2/5
Films about Football Hooligans never seem to be very good, although this is better than most.
Transsiberian - 3/5
A great first 30-40 build up of tension but it seems to lose it and ends with a predictable ending.
Mad Money - 1/5
Diane Keaton ruins another film (although it was never going to be gerat) She's become a caricature of herself and it's annoying to watch.
Twilight - 2/5
I liked the build up and opening scenes. However after the reveal it went downhill.

Dragonball evolution - 3/5
Was funny but expected something more serious hope they will make a new dragonnball movie soon.Watch Fringe online - new Sci/fi TV Show

Earth - 9/10. Now I want to watch the BBC tv series because of this. The only downside for me was the script for the narrating. The narrator himself was good (considering it was James Earl Jones for the North American release), but the script could have been better.

The Spirit - 1 / 5
There are bad movies and then there are bad movies. I couldn't believe how bad this is but like a car accident, I couldn't help but look away. Even a scantly clad Eva Mendes or Jackson's over the top acting couldn't save this one. Frank Miller should stick to writing comics as opposed to bringing them to the silver screen. You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't be sure. But it doesn't matter - because we'll be together.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Not bad, not good. I think it rates a long side X-Men 3, which was also hit an miss with me. 5.9/10.

Frost / Nixon - 3.5 / 5
Having never seen the actual interviews, I wasn't sure what really to expect or how accurate this is. Langella is fantastic and I ended up feeling pity for Nixon. I did find the documentary style interviews of some of the characters felt out of place.

The Spirit
even with a cast full of beautiful women like Eva Mendes and Scarlett Johansson and Paz Vega and Stana Katic and Sarah Paulson and Seychelle Gabriel; this ludicrous movie couldn't save itself!!
I give it 1.5 out of 5!!
