    My life has been very boring over the last couple of days, so I watched:

    The Fog (2005) - 2/5 - I give it 2 because I like Selma Blair.
    Aeon Flux - 2/5 - I also like Charlize Theron.
    The Cave - 1/5 - sorry, no Charlize, no Selma... only 1 point

    Cannibal Holocaust 2: The Catherine Miles Story (1985) 2/5

    Not many cannibals in this one, it's more love story then a horror movie.

    I will always know what you did last summer: 0/5
    the prequels had style, humor, sexy actresses, good kills and were scary

    this one is soooo bad, not so bad that its funny again, its even worse
    horrible acting, HORRRIBLE
    looks like the "i know" franchise now goes a diferent way than the prequels, which sucks
    so far its the worst movie 2006 for me (poseidon was it before)

    I normally don't buy DVDs before I have watched the movie, but I purchased four DVDs today that I have never seen before, two of them ones that I figured I would keep no matter what, and the other two I figured I could sell again if I don't like them.

    Tonight, we watched two of them.

    The first was "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" (the 2005 movie version, which is one of the ones I was going to keep). We watched it earlier tonight. They could have done better, but then, I am a big fan of the books. I'm not sure any version of the movie would live up the books.

    I wish they would make the sequel, though... I am curious to see how the story would continue (since they added a story-line that wasn't in the book). But I don't think that will happen.

    Another movie I purchased which I haven't seen before was "Memoirs of a Geisha." I bought that one for my wife... she is a big fan of the book, but if she didn't like the movie, then we would probably sell it. She watched it, while I missed a large portion of the movie because I was making supper. Since I have never read the book, I have no idea what is going on (since I missed about 30 minutes of it), but my wife is impressed with the movie.

    Timeline (2003) 3.5/5

    I haven't read the novel, but found the movie very enjoyable.

    Last night, we watched another of the DVDs I picked up but hadn't seen before. This time we watched Troy. My wife is interested in Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythology, and I was curious about it myself (some of her interest rubbed off on me, I guess).

    I don't know if we would have purchased the DVD if we had watched it first, but now that it is part of our collection, neither of us see any reason to give it up. It isn't the best movie we have seen, but not the worst. And the fight sequences were impressive.

    Just watched Flightplan last night. I enjoyed it.

    We finally watched the last of the new DVDs that I haven't seen before. I was saving what I hoped would be the best for last, and it was. "Good Night, and Good Luck" was a really good movie. Both my wife and I are journalism majors, and we heard a lot about that particular "case" when we were in college, so we were very familiar with the circumstances and the overall situation, but it was really great to actually see it played out the way it was.

    I saw My Super Ex-Girlfriend today;

    not a good movie, not a bad movie;

    had a few good laughs and Uma looks good, as always and so does Anna Farris.

    I give it 3.5 out of 5.

    Saw Invincible 4/5
    I was a little dissapointed w/ the final scene, (Which was supposed to be the high point of the movie.).

    "Suddenly I heard a tapping, as of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. You heard me rapping, Right?"

    I saw Click today.

    Was expecting a comedy but it doesn't know what it wants to be:

    a Life Drama?

    a comedy with off colours adult locker room humour?

    what?

    I give it 2 out of 5.
