what wuz the most recent movie(s) you have seen:

i wanted to make a sticky thread really bad! and i thought i should do something like 'the most recent DVD you have purchased' so this could be a never ending thread just like it, you post which movie you have just seen everytime. (just like everytime you purchased a DVD)

please let me know if you think this is stupid! or a bad idea?

just saw T3 again tonite w/ my boyfriend.....

and i'm gonna make this a theater slash rental thread... if you have purchased a DVD, read above!!! hehe

Saw Elephant & The Dreamers yesterday:

Elephant: kind of a let down. How should I put it?... It's like a film the way I'd make it, but not a film that I'd like. I don't know if the climax (which I found kind of distrubing/dissastisfactory instead of fulfilling) makes up for the rest of the film, which is fragmentic, anachronic, mainly long tracking shots following different characters from their back (though it fits into the motif for a reason). We never find out much about the kids. Maybe THAT's the point of the film, but being never educated in the US, it distants me from feeling for the characters. Not trying to be cruel, but at the end, so what?

The Dreamers: now that's a fun movie, like tisoy said before, for film buffs, especially those who are familiar with the French New Waves and classics before. Why can't there be chicks in the life who's gorgeous and THAT into movies like Isabelle in real life??? (Although I'm not interested in engaging myself into a close-friendship/relationship with her twin brother )

Last Samurai - exellent movie, lots of action, I absolutely loved the representation of the Samurai culture, see this movie, unfortunately it's not the kind that you can watch 5 times.

Saw Paycheck the other day, a lot better than I had expected.

And I saw Van Helsing 2 days ago, not too shabby.

You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't be sure. But it doesn't matter - because we'll be together.
