    Prometheus (2012)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1446714/

This is a thinking man/woman movie.

You don't have to have seen Alien to watch this but it does help a bit.

The movie is good but I do feel they could had flesh out the characters a bit more and added about 20 more min to the running time to give us a bit more plot information.

Furthermore, the Religious and Christian and Jesus analogy and symbolism was totally unnecessary.

Finally, the film leaves the ending open to two sequels (according to Ridley Scott, there will be 2 more films before it comes full circle to connect to Alien).

    I give it 4.5/5

    p.s.

Does anyone know what the 10/11/12 post-credit scene means?

Is it the DVD release date?

Or maybe a Director's/Extended DVD Cut?

    Men in Black III (2012)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1409024/

    Sorry!

But you lost me at Men in Black!!

I didn't enjoy the first one that much; the second one was forgettable to me and this one is just totally unnecessary except to milk money out of movie-goers.

    Prometheus - 9.25/10

Thought this movie was pretty awesome. Ranks among Ridley Scott's best movies in my opinion. His use of 3D was also top notch. I wanted more by the time it was done. Hopefully we get more in the future.

I didn't know that was there. This is the first I heard about it. When I go back to see it again in a couple of days to see it in IMAX 3D,I will look for it. Any way I have no clue other than may they have a surprise for us later/at that date. I'll see what I think more after I go back.

    *edit*

    I just found this...http://www.whatis101112.com/
Notice what it says at the end... Weyland Corp. building better worlds since 10. 11. 12. So evidently Weyland Corp. gets founded this year.

    Who wrote this script?

Retarded 3 years old working in a sweat shop in China?

There are so many plot holes I can make swiss cheese out of it!!

    Prometheus (2012)

I on the other hand think this movie is a complete disaster. Even worse then AvP. No plot, stupid characters that I didn't care for... I had a feeling that tons of footage is missing (I doubt the extended cut will make this movie better). I was embarrassed by most scenes and the rest was unintentionally funny. Awful movie, awful. Not to mention that it doesn't explain a single thing, adds more questions... but after watching it I have zero interest in hearing the answers. Major letdown.

    1/5 One point for cinematography.

Went to see Prometheus in IMAX 3D ~ after reading a review and hearing about a lot of the dialog that I missed (both times) I give it 3.75/5.

The 3D is just as good if not better in this.Despite the fact that I love the panorama of the regular theaters ,I just don't think I can watch movies like that any more. IMAX is so much better being bigger. I'll wait to see the panorama when they come out on DVD.

As far as that question of J7's from earlier,it really wasn't another scene, just an extension of the end credits which included what is at the end of that video I posted earlier.

One way or the other I have a feeling they will do something on that date so I will be looking out that day.

    My Week with Marilyn (2011)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1655420/

It's refreshing to see that in today's cinema saturated with big noisy CGI and SFX overloaded productions and cliche filled action films bordering on a B- movie status and low budget PG-13 horror movies wannabes,

there's someone who can still produce an intelligent film.

    My only question is:

"is this really a true story?"

Because I have my doubts that any of the events depicted in this film did happen to Colin Clark as he claims.

    Windtalkers (2002)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0245562/

This is not a movie about the Navajo code talkers serving in the U.S. Marines in World War 2.

This is a movie about Psychotic Nicolas Cage, the one man killing machine!!

    Exclamation

I Just re-watched all the Resident Evil films and I am now ready for the new one.

    Resident Evil (2002)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120804/

A fitting start to the Resident Evil film franchise!

A very well made film and faithful to the games.

    5/5

    Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0318627/

This 2nd entry in the Resident Evil film franchise picks up where the first one ended.

A very enjoyable sequel and almost as good as the first one.

    4.75/5

    Resident Evil: Extinction (2007)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0432021/

The 3rd entry of the franchise and in my opinion, the weakest of the entire series.

Still, it had its moments and it's still much better than the PG-13 horror wannabes and the crappy reboots and remakes littering the movie industry nowadays.

    4/5

    Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1220634/

I liked this movie very much; my only disappointment is they could had given the Alice clones more screen time.

The final scene is priceless and it makes the upcoming sequel worth the wait.

    The Soldier (1982)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084704/

Violent 80s thriller made when the Cold War was still going on and nuclear tension between Russia and the U.S. was still at its highest.

    Johnny English Reborn (2011)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1634122/

This is supposedly a hilarious spoof of the Bond films and of every spy movie ever made but I didn't laugh once!!
