    Hell Is For Heroes (1962)

    on DVD

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056062/

    I've seen this before.

I don't remember when and where.

Maybe it was on late night TV here in the U.S. or on TV in Italy.

I think this is only the 2nd time I can remember Steve McQueen dying in a movie.

    Great World War II film from Director Don Siegel (later of Dirty Harry directing fame);

starring James Coburn, Bob Newhart (one of the few times I've seen him in a non comedy role and this film was his movie debut by the way) and Harry Guardino (who later starred in two Dirty Harry films)

After almost a year, I've finally decided to give The Dark Knight Rises a chance.

Well, right from the beginning I am questioning several things including WHY does Bruce Wayne's voice changes when he puts on the Batman mask?

That was one of the major complaints from fans and critics worldwide about The Dark Knight.

His voice shouldn't change because the mask is not covering his mouth or any part of it.

I guess that idiot Hack Nolan doesn't listen to his fans!

My rating of it for the first 68 min:

Same old poorly made, noisy BS as the previous two Nolan's Batman films!

All you Nolan and Dark Knight fan-boys who can't take constructive criticism because you think Nolan's Batman films are the greatest things ever made since sliced bread and the wheel (and they are not),

    you can kiss my ass!

I am entitled to my opinion!

After almost a year, I've finally broke down and watch The Dark Knight Rises.

Noisy, Pretentious Convoluted Monotonous Overrated POS!

Christopher Nolan is a Talentless Hack!

1 star out of 10 stars!

It's getting 1 star because of Hathaway as Catwoman otherwise I would had given it a big fat ZERO

    Les Miserabableblesblahblaah!!

    Totally Hideous!

So far out of the 9 Academy Awards Nominated films:

    "Amour"
    "Argo"
    "Beasts of the Southern Wild"
    "Django Unchained"
    "Les Miserables"
    "Life of Pi"
    "Lincoln"
    "Silver Linings Playbook"
    "Zero Dark Thirty"

I've seen Argo, Silver Linings Playbook, Zero Dark Thirty, Lincoln, Life of Pi and only Zero Dark Thirty was worth a Best Picture.

    I thought Argo was worth the Best Picture nomination after I watched it;

then I found out that 3/4 of the stuff depicted in the film NEVER FREAKING HAPPENED!

How do the Members of the Academy pick these Best Pictures nominees?

    While they are on drugs?

I hope the next film in the 9 Best Picture nominees list that I will be watching next will be better:

    Django Unchained

    Watching Django Unchained.

I've been enjoying this until the 1 hr and 4 min mark.

What is that little runt doing in a Quentin Tarantino's movie?

Also watched Django Unchained last weekend. I think if Christoph Waltz hadn't been there, the film would have been half as good. I loved his role.

    Exclamation

Currently watching Alfred Hitchcock's North By Northwest.

Is it just my imagination or do women look different 54 years ago?

Also, notice something in these screenshots?

    The Last Stand (2013)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1549920/

I wasn't expecting much from this movie.

It looked like a low budget brainless action film with a geriatric looking Arnold Schwarzenegger.

    But I was pleasantly surprised.

It was quite entertaining with a few good action set sequences.

I hear Arnold will be making another Terminator movie, another Conan movie and a sequel to Twins.

He may be getting old but it looks like he is still picking his movie projects carefully and he can still entertain.

I honestly wasn't sure about this but went ahead and saw it. It is very original and even has a decent plot /story. Even tho this is a found footage film, the camera man was a professional news type so very little shaky cam (mainly while they are running).

I actually wouldn't mind watching this again someday.

The Night of the Generals (1967)

After almost a week of watching it in bits and pieces, I'd finally finished this.

It was interesting in parts and boring in other parts.

The ending was disappointing and unsuspenseful!

A Good Day To Die Hard.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1606378/

What a POS with so many plot holes!

I hope this is the last one because ever since Die Hard With A Vengeance, they are getting worse and worse,

unless they want to make the next one with just Lucy McClane kicking ass!
