    Think about it

    Think about these before answering.

    "Questions"

    1. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between
three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full
of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that
haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?

    2. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for
over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they
both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How
    can this be?

    3. There are two plastic jugs filled with water. How could you put
all of this water into a barrel, without using the jugs or any
dividers, and still tell which water came from which jug?

    4. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray
    when you throw it away?

    5. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday?

    6. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you canfind out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you
still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you
might find out! Try to do so without any coaching!

(almost wirm and you didn't elaborate, i'm already guessing you got this email)

    READY FOR THE ANSWERS?

    1. The third. Lions that haven't eaten in three years are dead.

    2. The woman was a photographer. She shot a picture of her
husband, developed it, and hung it up to dry.

    3. Freeze them first. Take them out of the jugs and put the ice in
the barrel. You will be able to tell which water came from which
    jug.

    4. The answer is Charcoal. In Homer Simpson's
    words: "hmmmm...Barbecue."

    5. Sure you can: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow!

    6. The letter "e," which is the most common letter in the English
language, does not appear once in the long paragraph.

    1) room full of starved lions
    2) shot with camera
    3) freeze the water
    4) newspaper
    5) yesterday, today, tomorrow
    6) no e's
If you can stay calm, while all around you is chaos...then you probably haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.

    intresting riddles. :big grin:

This one is easy if you've heard it before...otherwise it's kinda tricky.

Walking through the woods along a path you come to a fork in the road. There are two ways to go. You're trying to get to the city. But one path, let's make it intresting - one path leads to a bloody death rather then the city.

There is a set of twins - one stands by each path. One of these girls ALWAYS tells the truth. One girl ALWAYS lies. You may ask ONE question to ONE of them to figure out which path will lead you to the city, but you do not know who is the liar.

What do you ask, knowing that they may be the liar or the truth teller?

I'll post it with a spoiler tag in a few days if nobody gets it

I've seen this riddle all over the place (in various forms) but the answer is always the same and nobody can ever remember it...kinda like that water jug problem from Die Hard with a Vengance

I've heard this before...I was told the answer...WHAT WAS IT?!

lol fine you people....here's the answer.
SPOILER TAGS for the people still trying to figure it out. (you can check here to see if you're right

Go to one of the girls. It doesn't matter which one, because you can't tell the difference.

Ask "If I were to ask HER..." (pointing to the other girl) "...which path would she say leads to the city?"

now... here's the logic behind it:

Both of them will tell you the path which leads to your death.
If you are asking the TRUTH TELLING GIRL, it is because she will tell you what the liar will say.
If you are asking the LYING GIRL, it is because she will LIE about what the truth teller would say, and say the same thing.

So whatever path they say leads to the city after that, you take the other one!
The truth teller tells the truth about what a liar would say, the liar lies about what the truth is.....

think it through slowly if you don't get it...it works.
