Which "bad" movie are you willing to admit you actually liked?

got this idea from another forum

Okay, so sometimes it seems that there is almost universal agreement that a movie is bad. And I'm not talking not Academy Award material but just all around bad, from plot, to acting, to writing, to...well you get the idea. But it's all about expectations in the end, and I have found from time to time that my expectations of a movie have been lowered so much by others' criticisms, that when I actually watch the movie, I find a little unexpected joy from it. I might even be willing to call it entertaining.

Okay, I'll admit it, I was actually entertained by

    Wing Commander (1999)
    Showgirls (1995)
    Cutthroat Island (1995)
    Postman, The (1997)
    and
    Highlander II: The Quickening (1991)

    ohh maybe Johnny Mnemonic ...lol

Just for fun, take a look at the Bottom 100 Films of all time as listed by IMDB. Can anyone possibly confess to liking any of these? i do

I thought Universal Soldier: The Return was a fun adventure. Of course, I haven't seen it in a while, so I may be giving it more credit than it's due.
If you can stay calm, while all around you is chaos...then you probably haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.

Cannibal the Musical, just because it was Trey Parker and Matt Stone's college movie. The commentary on that DVD is the best if you ever get the DVD.

Well, of the 100 worst, I found two that I liked and a bunch that I could take or leave (i.e, I wouldn't say I liked them, but I wouldn't put them on the worst list of all time, either).

The first one I saw I liked was #28, Police Academy 6: City Under Siege. Yeah, most of the movie was corny, but I liked the climatic battles at the end... the battle of the giants, the battle of the karate warriors, and the battle of the gunmen. That made the whole movie for me. (For the record, I didn't care for #5, also on the list, and #4 I could take or leave).

The second movie I saw that I liked was based on a TV series that I got into during college. Yeah, the plot was cheesy, the characters were cheesy, the music was cheesy, and the special effects were cheesy, but it was on right after one of my toughest classes and was just what I needed to relax. The movie kept most of the cheese, but improved the effects somewhat and the music greatly. The movie? #44 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie. I didn't care for "Turbo," though.

As for other bad movies I liked, well, according to popular opinion, look at my <a href="http://www.ymdb.com/user_top20_view.asp?usersid=6326">Top 20 movies</a>. You can also check out my <a href="http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?cat=1&id=corfy">DVD collection</a>.

My list of movies that sucked, but I liked: (in no particular order)

    1) Life or Something Like it (huge Angelina Jolie Fan and Tony Shaloub did an awesome job in this movie)
    2) Playing By Heart (again I love Ms. Jolie,3) Pumpkin
    4) Pecker (Christina Ricci)
    5) Bedazzled

These are the ones I can remeber off the top of my head...I'm sure there are many many more!

Yeah... didn't mind Barb Wire, and Power Rangers 1 was actually half-decent.
