This has to be the funniest dialogue ever.

From "The Fix", Salon.com's gossip column:

July 24, 2003 | The word on the new Jennifer Lopez/Ben Affleck flick "Gigli" is that it’s a "total disaster." Affleck is said to be utterly miscast as the hitman who seduces the lesbian assassin played by Lopez. Lopez herself is said to be "just awful." But the major complaint is the lack of onscreen chemistry between the two off-screen squeezes, part of which is being blamed on suck-o dialogue. In one laughably unsteamy scene, Lopez lies on a bed with her legs spread and announces "It’s turkey time!" "What?" asks Affleck. She replies with what one critic has called "possibly the worst line ever said in a movie": "Come on, gobble, gobble." Pass the stuffing.

"It’s turkey time!" "What?" "Come on, gobble, gobble."
    hehehe

can anybody tell me, for what reason j-lo gets so much money???
she can't act, she never had a real blockbuster, her music is pretty mediocre and there are many women in hollywood that look much better than she does. a woman doesn't have to be skinny, but to me her a** is just fat. it would look good if she had other proportions, but with her body type her butt is just oversized. to me she is the most overrated actress/singer in years.

    from imdb:
    Gigli (2003) $12,000,000
    Maid in Manhattan (2002) $15,000,000
    Enough (2002) $10,000,000
    Angel Eyes (2001) $9,000,000
    Wedding Planner, The (2001) $9,000,000
    Cell, The (2000) $4,000,000
    Out of Sight (1998) $2,000,000
    Selena (1997) $1,000,000
somebody told me you have a boyfriend who looks like a girldfriend that i had in february of last year the killers

A friend of mine saw it and said...well, let me quote exactly:

"Gigli is AWFUL. It's a big sprawling mess of a movie....bound to be voted one of the worst of the year."

no way am i gonna see this movie and i LIKE ben affleck. both of them together don't even fit in real life. WHY must hollywood forsakenly come up w/ a movie w/ both of them in it?!?!?!?!

i loved J.Lo in Selena. then she became a frickin singer. she's good at music and dancing but at acting??????? you can only do one NOT both!!!!!! if you do, then you become careless at EVERYTHING you do!!!! J. Lo's singing and dancing have gotten downhill. she just got the looks in the videos, not movies

just like Mandy Moore, okay she wuz a singer at first then she tried out acting. unfortunately, she's better at acting. so she decided to make a career out of acting and she accepted it. so it's okay to make her own soundtrack. who wouldn't? will smith did it too.....

The worst part is, it's not just one movie. We've also got Jersey Girl, which hopefully will tell Kevin Smith that he must stay in the Askewniverse to be successful, which is good for everyone because his first five films are all great.

it seams that good scripts getting very rare these days in hollywood and mean really rare. in the out last year and this year what was had a damn good script that then made it to a great film with great cast and good director who combine t all together? let me think hmmm i know there are some but they just don't wanna come up. damn

anyway gooble gooble what f*cking stupid line btw that line reminds me of one of the animated asterix films: obelix runs after some turkey and says allways gooble gooble ohh, yes i remember it was "asterix in america"

Jlo gets paid money because execs assume the fact that she is in all the tabloids will get people to see her movie. Glad to see that America's taste is somehwat better than that. But then again, Kangaroo Jack was a hit!
