    Terminator = Governor???

    Schwarzenegger Announces Gubernatoria Bid

LOS ANGELES - Arnold Schwarzenegger ended the suspense Wednesday and said he would run in California's recall election, awarding Republicans his marquee value in their campaign to oust Gov. Gray Davis. Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein ruled out a run, labeling the election "more and more like a carnival every day."

Schwarzenegger's announcement came as a surprise; advisers had said in recent days that was leaning against running in the Oct. 7 election.

    well why not..

USA had an actor president for 8 long years (Pres. Reagan) and IMO he did a very good job and probably one of the best presidents america ever had (ending the 70s recession, ending the cold war, Star Wars military budget... etc)

but that was Reagan and this is Schwarzenegger ...hehehe

but i think he can win... will he?

ohh and he can never be president coz he is not naturally born american.. right?

    hehehe

But it was the announcement by Schwarzenegger, a moderate Republican and the star of the "Terminator" movies, that may have come as the biggest surprise.

Schwarzenegger, 56, announced his decision during a taping of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (news - Y! TV)," calling it the toughest he's made since deciding to get a bikini wax in 1978.

"The politicians are fiddling, fumbling and failing," he said. "The man that is failing the people more than anyone is Gray Davis."

Schwarzenegger's advisers had said in recent days that he was leaning against putting his name on the Oct. 7 election ballot because of opposition from his wife, journalist Maria Shriver.

Schwarzenegger told Leno that he's not afraid of Davis allies attacking him as "a womanizer" or "a terrible person." "I know that they're going to throw everything at me," he said.

    You know what else?

Gary Coleman is running. Larry Flynt is running too (Hustler magazine publisher if I'm right?) Gallagher (comedian) is running too.

what....the....hell? I'm not HUGE on politics - they're fine but get boring sometimes. Though THIS...this should be intresting. I want all these people in the same room. Should be intresting

Schwarzenegger imo though has a good chance. People know who he is and know that he works until he gets results.

I live in California, and Schwarzenegger is getting tons of support from all the people in my town. I think he definitely has a good chance. If he does become governor, it could spell the end of the Terminator franchise and the last time we see Arnie kick some robot ***...

according to ZUBi... heres another puppet..

    http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...recall_coleman

On Wednesday, Gary Coleman (news), the star of the 1980s sitcom, "Diff'rent Strokes," plunked down $3,500 in Alameda County and declared himself a candidate for governor of California. Current governor Gray Davis is facing a recall election Oct. 7.

question to ZUBi...who is controlling these puppets? .. i hope i am the one.. hahaha

Ah-nuld will win, because everyone's asking themselves, "why not?" and they can't come up with a valid reason to not vote for Arnie. Which would honestly be pretty cool, provided he officially changes the name of the position to "The Governator".

    That would be the hitch.
