lol yes, I think that everybody knows about the extreme ignorance of the USA people concerning other countries & cultures (well and often about everything outside his home). I still don't know if it's for indifference or just laziness.

On the CBC show This Hour Has 22 Minutes, they have a segment called Talking To Americans. Basically they have a "reporter" go out on the streets in major US cities and ask them questions about Canada. It's amazing some of the answers he gets. The best was during the US Presidential election, Rick Mercer asked Bush a question about something Prime Minister Jean Poutine said and the funny thing was that Bush didn't miss a beat and actually answered it. BTW, our Prime Minister's name is Jean Chretien and a poutine is a Quebec dish consisting of french fried, curd cheese and gravy.
You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't be sure. But it doesn't matter - because we'll be together.

American's can't be too dumb.
Their military presence saved the free world from the evils of two world wars. Plus the last generation saved us from totalitarian communist dictators who have killed tens of millions of their own citizens.
I guess I'd rather live in a country filled with stupid people that keep the world fairly safe and free, than be in a country full of arrogant people who haven't been able to protect themselves for generations.
Those of you who disagree can can continue to criticize. Meanwhile, the Americans will keep killing the people who would have you personally shot if they were in control.
Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

LOL
and the link clearly shows this text...
"Liberty can not be preserved without general knowledge among people." (1765) John Adams

"and the link clearly shows this text...
'Liberty can not be preserved without general knowledge among people.' (1765) John Adams"
...and of course if the person making a statement sounds intelligent, what they say must be true...even if credible evidence is given to the contrary!

OK so maybe he has no reason to change his username but I'm guessing this thread will bring him back anyway. Wont even bother commenting on this post though.
