As you may already known, the SE is the restored extended version with deleted scenes redubbed & reinserted, but it doesn't give you the option of viewing the original cut. So purist fans of the film (particularly those who got used to the original version) may want both DVDs.

Usually when I buy dvds they are on sale, but today I decided to give myself a present.
