    hehehehe-- coz I live in Europe and we have Region 2 DVDs... some titles are ahead of Region 1 US .. but most of the time R1 dvds are always ahead =p

    There's a bit more character development in the director's cut; I took notice that they add new angles to Jason Lee's character. There's a few more scenes with the new manager, Jimmy Fallon, and there's a funny scene where Stillwater has a radio interview with Kyle Gass (of Tenacious D) as a stoned-out-of-his-gourd DJ. I haven't decided if it's better or not, but it's still really good, and the watching for the new scenes make it interesting to watch.

    24 is an excellent show. You should not be disappointed when you're finished. And it's gonna be closer to 1200 minutes of watching. (Each episode's an hour long)
