Annie Lennox to sing LOTR theme song

    From IMDb.co.uk
Former Eurythmics frontwoman Annie Lennox will sing the theme song for the final Lord Of The Rings movie. The soundtrack for The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King, due to hit record stores on November 25, will feature Lennox's song "Into The West." She says, "It has been a fascinating experience to be a very small part of this vast jigsaw puzzle entitled The Lord of the Rings. The dedication and commitment to the project is awesome in every way." The movie opens on December 17.

I don't know who she is but I'll take Gaumont's word for it.
But then again, LoTR worked out pretty well so far with just Howard SHore so what's the point?

didn't the extremely overrated, eytremely annoying enya, coming fresh from the top of the charts with her kitsch 9/11 track, sing a song for the first movie

    btw:
annie lennox is also the singer of the eurythmics (sweet dreams, etc.), maybe you know them.

Howard Shore does the score. I like it when I ryhme. Yes, Enya sang the theme for FOTR called "May It Be" and was played during the first part of the end credits. Eurythmics, not sure who they are, but I know I've heard that name before...

How do you guys not know who Annie Lennox is......
You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't be sure. But it doesn't matter - because we'll be together.

Well, music is not my speciality. I'm just not a big fan of music. Espically pop, rap, and rock. Not sure about classical.

She might have been pop about 10 years ago
If you can stay calm, while all around you is chaos...then you probably haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.

the only song i like is "sweet dreams" which was used when Demi Moore stripped in that movie where she stripped....

damn that music is sooo cool when u picture that scene... LOL

also "Little Bird", also by Lennox, used when Demi was practicing... hehehe

this sounds bad, it seems most of her songs are used in strip clubs ...haha

She's just too pretty for Hollywood. I don't know, put her in a glass box and display her at the Metropolitan Museum of Art or something. - Jake on the topic of Scarlett Johansson.
