Fight Club (coming to XBox and PS2)!!

    You read that right!

    From joblo.com

Ever wanted to kick the crap out of your fellow man FIGHT CLUB style? Wanted to follow in the tradition of Tyler Durden but wasn't quite sure you wanted to get your teeth knocked out or your head shaved? No worries. Now the underground sensation known as FIGHT CLUB is coming to your video game system. Developer Genuine Games ("Knockout Kings") and publisher Vivendi Universal have teamed up for this street-fighting game (duh) that will feature Tyler, Jake and presumably more characters from the film (which haven't officially been announced yet) for xBox and Playstation 2. Here's what V/U had to say about the film in an official release: "In the underground world of Fight Club, the fight isn't over until someone goes limp, taps out, or is beaten. Immerse yourself in this gritty, visceral world of bare-knuckle fighting, with action, story elements and environments true to the Fight Club movie. The extreme realism of the game will make you feel every punch and kick by delivering shocking visuals, untraditional moves, and special effects in fully interactive environments." Certainly sound pretty cool. Info is pretty scant as far as characters, environment, etc. goes but expect more info in the coming months. A late-2004 release date (and a Mature rating) is expected.
Here's an early screen shot. This has potential but could also become a monumental failure. Time will tell...

Well, I am the voice of authority when it comes to this movie and I have mixed feelings
The extreme realism of the game will make you feel every punch and kick by delivering shocking visuals, untraditional moves, and special effects in fully interactive environments
what a load of crap - the very premise of fighting is to have an emotional output that is REAL, only someone who has never been in a fight could say something like that

on the other hand...it is Fight lub

but in the end THIS IS NOT WHAT TYLER WOULD"VE WANTED
just another sit at home and do nothing contribution to our ever crumbling society

...will feature Tyler, Jake and presumably more characters from the film ...
    Jake??????!!

it's Jack--> perhaps I AM THE LEADER OF FIGHT CLUB!
or I just had a game made about me
    cool

rofl, there are new screenshots at ign.com.
this game looks absolutely awful, the graphics look like the game is 7 years old. who creates a game 5 years after a movie anyway?

Why did they have to pull the movie into this? why couldnt they just make a fighting game and call it... "Fight Organization"
Sgt. Johnny Beaufort: He says, "The Apaches are a great race," sir. "They've never been conquered. But it is not well for a nation to be always at war. The young men die... the women sing sad songs... and the old ones are hungry in the winter."
