    Angry Bizzare Things At Movie-List

There must be somebody and his mates mucking with the site. Americian Beauty at the time of this posting is the 2nd highest rated trailer, just for a lousy 320 version. Classics voting has similar strange things happening. Eraser was VERY popular for one day, and a classics film with a very low vote gets an massive and unbeilievable boost make it winner with nearly 30%. Sinilarly 48 Hrs. shot from 4.78% to 12.75% in one night as well. I just fell that isn't possible unless nearly everyone who goes on the site vote for The Conversation or 48 Hrs. JP, it just seems weird that this has happen three times in a row.

oh boy, 48hrs climbed up on 8% in a day c'mon what's ya prob with that? i think it's ok when many want to see a certain trailer that was so far never available on the net. as long you don't have the dvd or laserdisc of this you never saw the trailer. so people see that jpb puts the trailer in the row for classic and people like the idea. i don't any big problem in it.

so calm down. i don't think there nothing bizarre going on here

Nothing bizzare about it. Recently, Movie-List has received a large increase of traffic over the weekend. Approximately increase of 233% in traffic.

Ppl rate the trailers on how interesting they are and not on their quality.

A reasonable explaination of an increase of trailer ratings. Should be more happy! Movie-List is becoming alot more popular

I can explain the ratings part...

A movie dosent make the 'top ratings' until it has at least 10 votes.
American Beauty might have had a high ranking, but wasnt listed because it didn't have enough votes yet.
Once it got it's 10th vote, it jumped in.

Aah...sorry, misunderstandings. Whoa, do you really get that much traffic at weekends? Looks like M-L is hitting the big leagues. Do think that people linked to the classics section on IMDb has helped?

Normally we aren't very busy on weekends.
But this weekend Aint It Cool News linked to our "The Village" page, and traffic went crazy.
