    Arrow Sweet Home Alabama

At first I thought this was a Lynard Skynard biopic, but hey, I was wrong, it's a new movie with Reese Witherspoon!

    Alabama Hi Rez

Plot: In this romantic comedy, New York fashion designer Melanie Carmichael (Witherspoon) suddenly finds herself engaged to the city's most eligible bachelor (Dempsey). But Melanie's past holds many secrets, including Jake (Lucas), the redneck husband she married in high school, who refuses to divorce her. Bound and determined to end their contentious relationship once and for all, Melanie sneaks back home to Alabama to confront her past, only to discover that you can take the girl out of the South, but you can never take the South out of the girl.

Hmmm. Can't decide if this one will be good or not. I really like Witherspoon in 'Election' and 'Pleasantville', but not all of her movies are exactly my cup of tea.

Well, she wasn't too bad in Pleasantville or Cruel Intentions, but she did a great job with Election, and this flick sounds like it might be half-decent.

    I'm a big fan

I've liked Resse Witherspoon ever since I saw her in Man In the Moon eons ago.

And lately I am more and more impressed with her. She was fantastic in Election and Legally Blonde.

If it were any other actress, this movie would be rental all the way. But with her as the lead, I'm all about it.

True, but the Alabama trailer hasn't done it for me ... too predictable.

Went to see Election @ the movies 2 years ago with friends. She renamed the title to "Erection" which I was then laughing all the way through and couldn't stop.
